Of course, there are some perks along with drawbacks with every device that launches in the market. And Echo Show 8 has also some great features along with some snags.

The Echo Show 8 is available at $130 and that what makes it a midrange smart display. The better screen resolution along with good quality sound doubles the joy. There is also a small camera shutter for user’s privacy. The aim is to provide some relaxation that they are not being watched.

The downside is it lacks the smooth interface if we compare it with Google Nest Hub. It comes with one megapixel of camera but the video quality is as good as 5 megapixel camera. And also you cannot open YouTube videos through voice command.

Amazon keeps pushing with its wide range of products.  The company launched Amazon Echo, Echo Dot with Clock, Echo Studio, Echo Show 5 and now Echo Show 8. They feel that one device will be right for somebody out there. If someone doesn’t like the Echo Show 5 then he or she will like Echo Show 8. The aim is to fill all the market need and don’t let the customer go away towards another competitor.

The echo show 8 comes with smart speakers along with Alexa. You can use this device at your doorstep to see who is coming, you can use it for streaming, video chatting, or use it to learn cooking. Everything at a mid-range price of $130.

It’s a little tough to match Echo Show 8 costs $130 which comes in 8 inches of the screen directly to Google Nest Hub which costs $130 with no camera option and has a 7 inches screen. But the Google Nest Hub Max which does have a better quality camera, smooth interface than Echo Show 8 along with 8 inches of the screen comes in at $230. From Nest Hub Max you can bring YouTube video via voice command.

Although, Amazon is improving day by day still they are far behind as compared to Google in the operating system. But Echo Show 8 steals the show here and no doubt the smartest display if we look at the features and price tag.
