ProtonMail is a web based mailing service to send safe and secure messages across the internet while using PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) encryption program.

A team of scientists who were working at CERN develop this email service platform. The main theme behind this idea was to protect the citizens of the world from surveillance. The governments and big fishes keep monitoring your emails, what are you sending and receiving. But for this team, they believe that privacy and secrecy is a sacred thing which must be protected.

Now the booming of the internet is the main reason behind everything that is happening online. As the social giants have policies written in complex form and users just have to accept it in order to use the service. This is a very alarming situation for privacy concerns.

ProtonMail are doing a great job at their end to encrypt every message in order to avoid consequences. Now the ProtonMail has launched the Beta version of the calendar so that everyone can manage their plans privately. ProtonMail is a direct competitor of Gmail and this addition might be the feature that people started ProtonMail instead of relying on Google mail.

Whatever you do the Google is constantly keeping an eye on you, so this ProtonCalendar is a very great opportunity for privacy lovers if they don’t want to tell Google what you are planning to do in the near future by using ProtonCalendar which is available on paid ProtonMail plan.

The majority of the people are concerned over Google’s collection and storing of user data. Not only the public but Google’s own employees also worried about their privacy.

The majority of the big companies use your calendar information in order for target advertising and plan events.

The launch of the beta version of ProtonCalendar started a new discussion about whether Google is still using the calendar to target audience or not.

The company is planning to add feature which allow ProtonMail users to send their calendar invites to non ProtonMail user.
