Razer Blade 2019 review

Our Verdict

The Razer Blade may be egregiously priced, but Razer fitted much more value into its high-power gaming laptop than ever before. If you do end up spending the money required, you’ll taking comfort in the fact that you’re taking home the whole gaming laptop package.

For

  • Excellent gaming performance
  • Huge battery life improvement
  • Windows Hello camera included

Against

  • Awfully expensive
  • Somewhat goofy keyboard layout

You’ve never seen the Razer Blade like this before. Even though it’s already established its spot among the best gaming laptops on the market, Razer has taken things to another level with the Razer Blade 2019, making it the most improved Razer laptop in existence.

It’s truly a well-rounded gaming laptop with specs as well as features that will have you topping the leaderboards. Though in some ways, it’s reminiscent of the 2018 model, it also sports quite its share of updates. Among the major ones, of course, is the new Nvidia Turing graphics inside, which is now a requirement for gamers-slash-Nvidia fans out there. It gives this model the sheer power that its Pascal predecessors never had, on top of that significantly improved battery life and the long-awaited infrared camera for facial recognition login.

Unfortunately, these improvements also come at a premium price rise, but they’re more than enough to make up for having to scrimp a bit for the next few months. If you have the cash to spare, then the Razer Blade 2019 is definitely worth the upgrade, whether or not you need it.
